August is usually all about the future in High School football: speculating about the upcoming season, finalizing recruiting classes, and dreaming that in just a few short months… we’ll be getting ready to cheer on our favorite teams from the stands.
But for the time being, the gridiron’s immediate future isn’t quite clear; as COVID-19 has spread, it’s forced postponements for school events all across the country. And while High School sports are far from the most important thing to be considering, as timelines on those events continue to move further out, questions are being asked about what High School football will look like when (or if) it kicks off this fall.
